A freelance teacher, teacher educator, materials writer, and ELT consultant. He has been in ELT for over 30 years, and regularly collaborates with Trinity College London, Macmillan Education, and other major publishers. His main interests are teacher education, English as a lingua franca, and pronunciation, subjects on which he has published numerous articles in leading teacher’s magazines such as English Teaching Professional and Modern English Teacher. In 2010 he published Teaching the Pronunciation of English as a Lingua Franca, a handbook for teachers. His is also co-author of a three-level course in English for tourism.
