Digital Content Project Coordinator Based in Warsaw

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the planning, development, and delivery of digital educational components (e-learning) for ELT courses published by Macmillan Poland, in line with agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The position combines project management responsibilities with editorial and production work on digital content. The role requires close collaboration with the Publishing, Digital, Marketing, and Sales teams, as well as with external suppliers and freelancers.

Role Responsibilities

  • Build and manage digital content development schedules; monitor, track and report on project status.
  • Support the preparation of digital content delivery budgets by providing cost estimates for delivery tasks and monitor spend on an ongoing basis.
  • Lead a small in-house team of Digital Content Editors and manage external suppliers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of the digital publishing plan.
  • Optimise the use of internal and external resources to mitigate capacity issues.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing to ensure project alignment with evolving market needs.
  • Recommend improvements to workflows, project development processes, and delivery models.
  • Support Digital Content Editors in briefing, monitoring, and liaising with third-party suppliers and freelance contributors to maintain schedules and quality standards.
  • Produce assigned digital content in accordance with schedules, budget, internal guidelines, and quality expectations.
  • Maintain consistency of house style across all digital materials and associated components.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent application of metadata across courses and develop metadata/tagging templates.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications

Essential

  • Degree in ELT, education, digital technology, or a related field
  • Knowledge of instructional design and appreciation of what makes a good digital activity
  • Experience in developing e-learning tools or platforms and/or a strong understanding of digital learning environments
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Experience building schedules and managing projects
  • Experience in teaching English is a strong advantage

Desirable

  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage tight schedules under pressure
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience managing suppliers or freelancers
  • Experience acting as a team leader or mentor
  • Ability to navigate and resolve ambiguity
  • A positive attitude and commitment to departmental goals

h) Should you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory body, ie the President of the Office for Data Protection.
i) Providing your personal data is voluntary, but necessary for the implementation of the Agreement.
