dr Małgorzata Krzemińska-Adamek

Krótkie BIO

Małgorzata Krzemińska-Adamek graduated from Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, Poland, where she also obtained a PhD in Applied Linguistics. She is currently employed as Assistant Professor at the Department of English, MCSU, where she teaches courses in second language acquisition, foreign language didactics and language assessment. As far as her academic activity is concerned, she has authored publications on vocabulary learning, teaching and assessment, including a monograph titled Receptive and Productive L2 Vocabularies: Acquisition, Growth and Assessment (Peter Lang, 2017).

Małgorzata has been a teacher of English for more than 15 years and her experience includes working with students of various ages and proficiency levels. Recently, she has specialised in teaching general English and conversation courses to older teenagers and adults. She is also a teacher trainer and ELT materials writer.

In her free time Małgorzata loves being with her family (she’s a mum of two ‘kinesthetically intelligent’ boys). She appreciates good music and the company of inspiring people. She also likes learning new things or brushing up the skills she used to have, like speaking Spanish or ice-skating.
