In a classroom full of young learners with limited attention span and excessive energy, finding a way to persuade ALL students to take an active part in the lesson is a big challenge. To achieve this, the teacher needs to create an educational context that requires each and every learner to follow the plan. In this session we are going to investigate effective techniques of storytelling, using role plays, and songs in a big group of learners with different levels of school maturity. We will look at the teacher as a manager and a guide making sure that EVERY student is actively involved in the tasks. The session will present English education in the lower primary sector as a whole class adventure that ALL children embark on as a team.
